This one falls into the “if it’s not broke, why fix it” category. Well, I say, I’m an engineer, so broken or not I’m always experimenting to make things better or at least a bit more interesting. Luckily I have a wife who puts up with my madness.

Now, instead of simply picking a movie for the kid’s Movie Night, we let them do the work. We mix up two movies in one Santa hat, and two food options in another. The kids randomly pick out one each, and the night begins.

They seem to dig it, for the time being anyway. Guessing my luck could change if I sneak in broccoli as one of the food options. Or a movie about broccoli. Or both for that matter. Sounds funny, think I’ll give that a try next weekend.
