While I’m a long-term, detailed planner in just about everything I do (ask anyone!), family vacations are another story. We have a small army of amazing kids who have many things going on in their own lives, so detailing a trip months in advance just doesn’t happen. This doesn’t stop us from having fun, though.
With about a week’s notice, Samantha and I decided to put together a quick Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood trip. In less than half a day, we detailed everything, marked the calendars, and shortly found ourselves flying to California. Little sleep, lots of walking, but so much fun!
Here’s a shot of us at the original Psycho house, part of Universal’s backlot tour. Of all the things we saw and did, the backlot tour was a clear favorite.
